let age of B be x
equation=
Age of B = X
Age of A= X+5
5 years ag , the ratio was 2:3 ( I reversed the ratio cuz I took B first)
2/3 = X/X+5
Now by cross multiplying
2(X+5)=3X
=> 2X + 10 = 3X
=> X = 10

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER
Let the age of B be x
Then the age of A = x+5
FIVE YEARS AGO :
______________
A's age=x+5-5=x
B's age=x-5
===============================
Ratio of their ages :
x/(x-5)=3/2
2x=3(x-5)
2x=3x-15
15=3x-2x
x=15
===============================
THEIR PRESENT AGE :
_________________
AGE OF B = 15 years
AGE OF A= x+5=15+5=20 years
