Answer:

Let the present age of B be x years, then the present age of A will be x/3.

After 15 years, age of B will be x + 15 and the age of A will be x/3 + 15.

Now, ATQ,

x/3 + 15 = (x + 15)/2

=> (x + 45)/3 = (x + 15)/2

=> 2x + 90 = 3x + 45

=> 3x - 2x = 90 - 45

=> x = 45

Hence, the present age of B is 45 years and the present age of A is 15 years.
