Let Present age of mother be x

and that of sun be y

We are given, x = 4y ----------------------(1)

and, (x-5) = 9(y-5) --------------------------(2)

Solving Eqn. (1) and (2)

We get, x = 32 and y = 8

Hence, Present Age of mother = 32 years
