Answer:

Hey friend here's your answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the present age of the daughter be x years.So the present age of mother=3y years

x=3y

x-3y=0 (1)

Age of daughter after 12 years=(x+12) years

Age of mother after 12 years=(3y+12) years

So,

3y+12=2(x+12)

3y+12=2x+24

2x-3y=-12 (2)

Subtracting (1) from (2),we get

x=12

Now putting x=12 in (1),we get

12-3y=0

3y=12

y=4

Therefore the present age of daughter is 12 years and that of mother is 3*12=36 years.

Answer:

Let the daughter's age be x years.

Then, mother age = 3x years

3x + 12 = 2 (x + 12)

⇒ 3x + 12 = 2x + 24

⇒ x = 12

Present age of daughter = 12 years
