Let's Annu age be x
Father age = 4x

5 years ago, age were = x - 5 , 4x - 5

Equation formed :-

4x - 5 = 7 ( x - 5 )
4x - 5 = 7x -35
35 - 5 = 7x - 4x
30 = 3x
10 years = x or Annu ' s age

Father's age = 10 × 4 = 40 years

y - 5 = 7x - 35

Now put y = 4x

4x - 5 = 7x - 35

3x = 30

x = 10

y = 4x = 4×10 = 40

Father age = 40 yr
