Let the age of son be x and then age of father will be (2x+20)
According to the given information,
x+(2x+20) =65
x+2x+20=65
3x=65-20
3x=45
x=45/3
x =15
Now,
Age of son =x =15years
Age of father =(2x+20) =[(2*15)+20]
Age of father =30+20=50 years
I hope this will help you
