the age of father is equal to the sum of the ages of his 5 children. After 15 years,sum of the ages of the children will be twice the age of the father.Find the age of the father.
PLEASE GIVE THE ANSWER STEP BY STEP.

let sum of ages of 5 children = x
father's age = 5x 
after 15 years 
(x+15*5)=2 (5x+15) 


2x+150 = 10x+30 
8x=120
/8
x=15 years 
father's age =5*15 = 75 years

Ajayprajapati111: your anwer is also wrong .let y is father age that is equal to sum of his sons age after 15 year acc to question ( y+15*5)=2(y+15) on solving this we get the right answer . and it would be y =45

Age of 5 children be =5x
sum = 5x+5x+5x+5x+5x= 25x
after 15 years the age of children be = 25x × x = 25 the fathers age
25 × 25 =50.
after 15 years the age of father = 50.
