Explanation:

Given :

the age of father is four times of his son after five years father will be five times as old as his son.

To Find :

The present age of son

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ

Let the son's age be 'x'

and father's age be 4x

according to the question

father is four times of his son

x = 4x......(1)

After 5years father will be 5 times old as his son

4x +  5 = 5(x + 5)

4x  + 5 = 5x + 25

 =  >4x - 5x = 20

 =  >  - x = 20

Here value of x is negative but we take positive as age can't be negative value

∴Son's age is \bold{\red{20 \:years }}

Father's age is 4x=4×20=\bold{\red{80 \:years}}
