Let the age of the man be x and of son be y
Man's age =3 the son's age
That is, x=3y 1.
15 Yrs ago, fathers age=x-15
Son's age = y-15
Then, fathers age =9 sons age
(x-15)=9(y-15)
x-15=9y-135
x-9y=-135+15
x-9y=-120 2.
Put the value of x in equation 2 from equation 1.
x-9y =-120
3y-9y=-120
-6y=-120
6y =120
y=20
Present age of son is =20yrs
Present age of man age =3y
=3*20 =60yrs
Man's 's age after 15yrs=60+15
=75yrs
