The age of mother is 9 times that of AMU after 9 years it would be the three time what are their age now

Lets say age of AMU be X.
So age of mother be 9X. ———(1)
After nine years age of AMU will be X+9.
And age of mother will be 3(X+9) ———(2)

From equation (1) and (2), we have
9X + 9 = 3(X+9)
9X + 9 = 3X + 27
6X = 18
X = 3

So age of AMU will be 12
And age of mother will be 36

Solution:-

According to the Question

Let the age of Amu be x years.

therefore, the age of his mother be = 9x

→ x = 9x

Age After 9 years

3(x + 9) = 9x + 9

→ 3x +27 = 9x +9

→ 27-9 = 9x -3x

→ 18 = 6x

→ x = 18/6

→ x = 3

Therefore, the age of Amu is 3years

And , the age of his mother = 9×3 = 27years.
