age of Anu is the sum of Anish’s age and one –fourth of Rahul’s age. The
sum of all their ages is 89 years. Find their ages.

$anish = x \\ rahul = 4x + 4 \\ anu = x + ( \frac{1}{4} \: of \: 4x + 4) \\ = x + x + 1 = 2x + 1 \\ sum = anish + rahul + anu \\ = x + 4x + 4 + 2x + 1 \\ = 7x + 5 = 89 \\ 7x = 89 - 5 = 84 \\ x = \frac{84}{7} = 12 \\ anish = 12 \\ rahul = (4 \times 12) + 4 = 52 \\ anu = 12 + ( \frac{1}{4} \times 52) \\ = 12 + 13 = 25$
