After 4 years age of raja's father = (X+4) years.

According to question,


(X+16/4) = 3/10 × (X+4)

X+16/4 = 3(X+4)/10

X +16/4 = 3X + 12/10

10(X+16) = 4(3X+12)

10X + 160 = 12X +48


12X -10X = 160-48

2X = 112

X = 112/2 = 56


Age of father = X = 56 years.


And,

Age of his son = 1/4 X = X/4 = 56/4 = 14 years.
