Given

  • Age of Ram = 5 times the square of shyam's age
  • Difference of their age is 18 years

Explanation

Let the age of the shyaam be x and age of the Ram be 5x²

Now, We can apply Equations to find desired results as:-

 \bigstar{\pmb{\underline{\sf{ According \ to \ Question: }}}} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ 5x^2-x = 18 }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ 5x^2-x-18 = 0 }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ 5x^2-(10-9)x-18=0 }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ 5x^2-10x+9x-18=0 }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ 5x(x-2)+9(x-2)=0 }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ (x-2)(5x+9) = 0 }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ x = 2 \ and \ - \dfrac{9}{5} }} \\

  • Neglecting (5x+9) Because Age can't be Negative (-ve).

Hence,

  • Shyam's age = x = 2 Years
  • Ram's Age = 5x² = 5×(2)² = 5×4 = 20 Years
