Let the present age of Ravi = 5y  years

 Let the present age of Hema = 7y  years

 According to condition:

5y +4 / 7y+4 =3/4

= 20y +16= 21y +12

=20y - 21y =12- 16

= -y = -4

= y = 4

Ravi's present age = 5y = 5 x 4 = 20 years

Hema's present age = 7y = 7x4 = 28 years
