Let A'sage be 8x and B's age be 3x

According to question, we have,

3x+6= 4

8x+6= 9

=>32x+24=27x+54

=>5x=30

=>x=6

A's age =8×6=48

B's age =3×6=18

A+B =48+18=66 years

Ans = 66 years
