Rohan's father's age be = 8x

Then Rohan's age be = x

After 2 years

Rohan's age will be = 6x + 2

and father's age will be = 8x - 2

ATP,

8x - ( 8x-2) = x - (6x+2)

8x - 8x + 2 = x - 6x - 2

2 = - 5x - 2

x = - 5 - 2 -2

x =5

Therefore, Rohan's age = 5 years

and father's age = 8 × 5 = 40 years

Rohan's age after 2 years = 5 + 2 = 7 years

father's age after 2 years = 40 + 2 = 42 years
