the age of sona and sonali are in ratio 3:5 five year hence, their age will be 7:10 what is their present ages?

Let the age of sona & sonali be 3x & 5x. after 5 years their age ratio = 3x+5 / 5x+5= 7/10 on solving this equation we get the value of x = 3 therefore age of sona is 3x = 9 , sonali is 5x= 15.
