Let the age of sunil be x ,

Therefore age of Sunil’s mother will be 10x

Now after 6 years , sunil’s age will be x + 6

And age of Sunil’s mother will be 10x + 6

Now it is given that 4 ( x+6) = 10x +6

Open the bracket in LHS

you will get new equation as 4x + 24 = 10x + 6

6x = 18

x = 3


Therefore present age of sunil = 3 years
And present age of Sunil’s mother will be = 3 x 10 = 30 years
