Sol - Firstly we have to find the age of Kiran then we can double it and find the age of Suresh..

So,Let Kiran age be x

And Suresh age 'be 2x.

According to Question ,

x+2x=24

3x=24

x=8

Therefore x = 8 which is the age of Kiran

As We we know Suresh age is double than Kiran

Therefore Kiran age = 8

So , Suresh age = Double of Kiran's age

=8×2=16 years..

Conclusion..

Suresh's age = 16 yrs

Kiran's age = 8 yrs..
