so ATP,

8x + 6 =           10

7x + 6              9

9(8x + 6) = 10(7x + 6)                                        (cross multiplication)

72x + 54 = 70x + 60

72x-70x = 60-54

2x = 6

x = 6/2 = 3

so their present ages will be = tanya = 8x = 8(3) = 24 years

                                                   vihan = 7x = 7(3) = 21 years

and after 6 years they will be = tanya = 24 + 6 = 30 years

                                                    vihan = 21 + 6 = 27 years

The Present age of Vihan is 7x.

6 Years later,

Age of Tanya = 8x + 6

Age of Vihan = 7x + 6

According To Question :-

8x + 6 = 10x

=) 6 = 10x - 8x

=) 6 = 2x

=) x = 3

Also, 7x + 6 = 9x

=) 6 = 9x - 7x

=) 6 = 2x

Now, substitute the value of x in their Present ages.

Present age of Tanya = 8x
