- hence the age of father will be for your more than three time age of his son .
Now,
- we have to find here are their present age
So,
- let the present age of be "X" yrs .
- So, the present age of father 2x^2 yrs .
Eight years hence ,
- sons age : (X+8) yrs
- fathers age : (2x^2 + 8) yrs
it is given that a eight yrs hence the age of father will be for your more than three times the age of son
So,
- it will form a equation : 2x^2 +8 = 3(X+8) +4
now solving it we get ;
so, X = 4 , -5/2
- but the age cannot be negative so , X = 4
The present age of the son = 4 yrs
The present age of father = 2(X)^2 = 2(4)^2 = 32 yrs
The present age of son is 4 years and present age of father is 32 years .
