THE ANSWER IS HERE,
Let the age of the father be x.
And age of his 2 sons be y & z.
From the question,
=> x=2 (y+z)
After 20years,
=> x+20 = y+20+z+20
=> x+20= y+z+40
=> x=x/2+40-20
=> x/2=20
=> x=40years.
