Also given, after 20 years
x + 20 = a + 20 + b + 20
x + 20 = a + b + 40
x = (a + b) + 20
Substitute the value of x from equation 1 in equation 2
2 (a + b) = (a + b) + 20
a + b = 20
Therefore, x = 2 (a + b) = 2 * 20 = 40 years
