According to Indian culture, the age group and four divisions :-

Brahmcharya

This age group contains people from birth to 25 yeas. The job of these people is to be educated

Grihastha

This age group is from 25 to 50 in which their priorities is to maintain the household, old parents, kid and to earn.

Sanyas

This is the basic step to Vanaprastha which includes people of age group 50 to 75. These are retired people and are looked after by their kids and their work is basically worshipping.

This includes age group from 75 to death. The people belonging to this age group leaves all worldy possession and are exiled to meditate in nature and to attain Moksha (enlightenment)
