The ages of A and B are in ratio of 8:3 six years hence the ages will be in ratio of 9:4 .Find the present ages of A and B

A age = 8x

B age = 3x

After 6 years,

 \frac{8x + 6}{3x + 6}  =  \frac{9}{4}

4(8x + 6) = 9(3x + 6)

32x + 24 = 27x + 54

32x - 27x = 54 - 24

5x = 30

x =  \frac{30}{5}

x  = 6

Therefore;

A present age ➡️ 48year

B present age ➡️ 18 year
