Given Ratio of ages of A and B = 4:3
Let their ages be 4x, 3x respectively.

Before eight years, their ages were (4x-8), (3x-8) respectively.

Given ;
4x-8/3x-8=10:7

7(4x-8) = 10(3x-8)

=> 28x - 56 = 30x -80

=> 80-56=2x

=> 24 =2x

=> x = 12.

Age of A = 4(x)=4(12)=48 years
Age of B = 3(12)=36 years.
∴The ages of A,B are 48,36 years respectively.

Answer:

Let the age of A and B are 4x and 5x

According to question,

ten years ago ,

5x−10

4x−10

=

4

3

(4x−10)4=(5x−10)3

16x−40=15x−30

x=10

So their present ages are 4(10)=40 , 5(10)=50.
