Let the age of Ajay be 6x
Let the age of Bhanu be 5x
Sum of ages = 44

A.T.Q.

6x + 5x = 44
11x = 44
x = 44/11
x = 4
Ajay's age = 6x = 6*4 = 24
Bhanu's age = 5x = 5*4 = 20

AFTER EIGHT YEARS LATER

Ajay's age = 24+8 = 32
Bhanu's age = 20+8 = 28

Ratio of their ages = 32/28 = 8/7 = 8:7

let the age of ajay and bhanu be 6x and 5x respectively.

therefore 6x + 5x = 44 yrs

=> 11x = 44 yrs

=> x = 44/11

=> x = 4

hence, present age of ajay = 6x = 6 * 4 = 24 yrs

present age of bhanu = 5x = 5 * 4 = 20 yrs

now, we have to find the ratio of their ages after 8 yrs.

ajay's age after 8 years will be = 24 + 8 = 32 yrs

bhanu's age after 8 years will be = 28 yrs

hence their ratio :-

=> 32 : 28

=> 16 : 14

=> 8 : 7
