The ages of any and Binu in the ratio of 7:10 respectively.after 6 years the ratio of their ages will be 17:23 what is the difference in their ages

at first let the ages of any and binu be 7x and 10x and then after 6 years will be added with each 7x + 6 ,10x+6 and here given ratio of their ages so according to questions 7x+6/10x+6 = 17/23
then we get from here the value of x = 4
then 10*4+6 - 7*4+6, 46-34 = 12
