The ages of ena and Heena are in the ratio 7:5. Ten years hence, the ratio of their ages will be 9 7. Find their present ages.

here's ur answer...

let the present age of RNA and Heena be 7x and 5x.

after ten years their age will be 9x and 7x.

therefore 7x+10+5x+10=9x+7x

12x+20=16x

20=16x-12x

20=4x

x=20/4

x=6

hence, present age of ena=7x

=7×6

=42yrs

present age of Heena=5x

=5×6

=30yrs

ena-5x
after 10 yrs
heena 9x
ena 7x

45x^2+90x=49^2+70x
45x^2-49^2=70x-90x
