let the ages as,

3x,5x because two ages are in ratio of 3:5 means 3*X,5*X= two ages

before 5 years

the ratio will become 2:3 means 2x,3x ,so

2x+3x+5=3x+5x

5x+5=8x

5=8x-5x

3x=5

X=1.7 = 1 year 7 month

present age of fary=3x=3*1.7=5.1

5.1=5 years 1 moth

present age of sheza=5x=5*1.7=8.5
