Ratio of the present ages of Hari and Harry are 5:7

Let us assume, present age of Hari is 5x years and present age of Manoj is 7x years, where x is the multiplier

4 years from now,

Hari's age is 5x + 4 and Harry's age is 7x + 4

Therefore, ratio of their age = 5x+4 : 7x+4

Given:

5x+4 : 7x+4 = 3:4

(5x+4) / (7x+4) = 3/4

4 (5x+4) = 3 (7x+4)

20x + 16 = 21x + 12

x = 4

Therefore, present age of Hari is = 5x = 5 * 4 = 20 years 
and present age of Harry = 7x = 7 * 4 = 28 years
