Let Harry's age be 7x
☆ After 4 years .. (+4)
Hari's Age = 5x + 4
Harry's Age = 7x + 4
☆ 5x + 4 : 7x + 4 = 3 : 4
i.e., 5x + 4 / 7x + 4 = 3/4
= 3 ( 7x + 4 ) = 4 ( 5x + 4 )
= 21x + 12 = 20x + 16
21x - 20x = 16-12
= x = 4
☆ Thier present age =
Hari = 5x = 5 × 4 = 20 years.
Harry = 7x = 7 × 4 = 28 years.

Now we do a cross multiplication of these equation so,we get
20x +16=21x+12
21x-20x=16-12
X=4
Now present age of hari and Harry
5×4=20,7×4=28
So, 20 and 28 are the present age of hari and Harry
