Given,

the ratio of mahesh and ganesh is 4:5

after 6 years sum of their ages are = 57

➙ 4x+6+5x+6=57

➙ 9x+12=57

➙ 9x=45

➙ x=5

age of mahesh and ganesh is = 4×5=20,5×5=25

therefore the sum of their present ages are = 20+25=45
