According to 1st condition -

Mohan's age will be 5x+9

Sohan's age will be 7x−9

⇒5x+9:7x−9=2:1

⇒ 7x−9/5x+9 = 1/2

⇒(5x+9)=2(7x−9)

⇒5x+9=14x−18

⇒5x−14x=−18−9

⇒−9x=−27

⇒x=3

The present age of Mohan is 5x=5×3=15

The present age of Sohan is 7x=7×3=21
