if mohan was 9 years older than sohan=5x+9would be mohan 's age
if sohan is 9 years younger so his age=7x-9
mohan would have been aged twice than sohan=5x+9=2(7x-9)
5x+9=14x-18
5x-14x=-18-9
-9x=-27
x=3

sohan age=7×3=21years
