Let, consider the ages as 5x and 7x

Nikhil age ➜5x

Akhil age ➜7x

After, 4 years,

Nikhil age= 5x+4

Akhil age = 7x+4

According to question-

5x+4+7x+4=56

12x+8=56

12x=56-8

12x=48

x= 48/12

x=4

present age
