let age of ram = 10x

from eq 1 and 2

age of ram = 3x - 13x

= 10x

age of shayam = 4x - 10x

= 6x

10x = 6x

x = 10/6

= 2

hence ,

age of ram = 3x

= 3×2

= 6yrs

age of shayam =6x

=6×2

=12yrs
