To find:-

☆Their present ages

Solution:-

=>Let the present ages of Ram and Shyam be 7x and 5x respectively

Hence,4 years later,their ages will be:-

•7x+4

•5x+4

Now,As Per Question:-

=>7x+4/5x+4=4/3

=>3(7x+4)=4(5x+4)

=>21x+12=20x+16

=>21x-20x=16-12

=>x=4

Thus,present ages of Ram and Shyam are:-

•7×4=28 years (Ram)

•5×4=20 years (Shyam)
