Ram age will be - 10+12=22

Rahim age will be -13+10=23

Shyam age will be - 17+10=27

Average

$\frac{23 + 22 + 27}{3} \\ \frac{72}{3} = 24$

After 40 years their ages will be

Ram age will be -12+40=52

Rahim age will be -13+40=53

Shyam age will be -17+40=57

Average

$\frac{52 + 53 + 57}{3} \\ \frac{162}{3} = 54$
