6x+5/8x+5= 4/5

5(6x+5)=4(8x+5)

30x+25=32x+20

32x-30x=25-20

2x=5

x=5/2

• Rishi's age = 6x=6(5/2)=3(5)=15
• Tarun's age = 8x=8(5/2)=4(5)=20

• ➠The ratio of their age's
• after 5 year = 4:5

To find:-

• ➠Find their present age's = ?

Solution:-

• ☆Let the present age of Rishi will be 6x and Tarun will be 8x.

After 5 year their age's become

• Age of Rashi = ( 6x + 5 )
• Age of Turan = ( 8x + 5 )

According to the question

• After 5 year the ratio of their age's become 4:5 and it can be written as 4/5

Now,

• ➠((6x + 5)÷(8x + 5))= 4/5
• ➠5(6x+5)=4(8x+5)
• ➠30x−25=32x+20
• ➠32x−30x=25−20
• ➠ 2x = 5
• ➠x = 5/2

Now Put the value of x in the age of Rishi and Tarun.

• ➠Age of Rishi
• ➠6x = 6(5/2) = 3(5) = 15
• ➠Age of Tarun
