The ages of Rohan and Rohit are in the
ratio 3:7. Five years from now the ratio
of their ages will be 2:3. Find their

Let the present age of Rohan be 3x and Rohit be 7x

According to question

\implies\sf \frac{3x+5}{7x+5}=\frac{2}{3}

\implies\sf 2(7x+5)=3(3x+5)

\implies\sf 14x+10=9x+15

\implies\sf 14x-9x=15-10

\implies\sf 5x=5

\implies\sf x=\cancel\frac{5}{5}=1

Hence, x = 1yrs
