HERE'S THE ANSWER.....

Let the age of A = 5x yrs.
age of B = 7x years

after 4 years,

age of A = 5x + 4 yrs
age of B = 7x + 4 yrs

=> 5x + 4 + 7x + 4 = 56
=> 12x + 8 = 56
=> 12x = 56 - 8
=> 12x = 48
=> x = 4

age of A = 5x = 20yrs.

age of B = 7x = 28 yrs.
