let the age of Tanya be 8x

vihaan be 7x

6 year later tanay age 8x+6

6 year later vihaan age 7x+6

8x+6/7x+6=10/9

do cross multiply

9(8x+6)=10(7x+6)

72x+54=70x+60

72x-70x=60-54

2X=6

X=6/2

X=3

now out the value of X in both age

tanay=8x=8×3=24years

vihaan=7×3=21 years

so we get the present age of tanay and vihaan
