The ages of tea and kartiki are in the ratio 5:7 . Four years later the sum of their ages well be 56 years. What are their present ages.?

Let be the number 5x and 7x.

Four years later =5x+7x - 4

Since, the sum of there age is 56.

5x+7x-4 =56

12x=56+4

12x=60

X=60/12

X=5

The age of tea =5x=5× 5=25

THE age of kartiki =7x=7×5=35
