The ages of the two boys A and B are 6 years 8 months and 7 years 4months

respectively. Divide Rs. 3,150 in the ratio of their ages.

Please explain me this question and tell me when multiplying in the end with 3150 how 21 came as denominator...Right answers will be marked as brainliest​

6 years 8 months = 6(12)+8 = 80 months. 7 years 4 months = 7(12)+4 = 88 months. So, ratio of their ages = 80:88 = 10:11. Hence, A's share = (10/21) x 3150 = 1500 Rs and B's share = (11/21) x 3150 = 1650
