Let the present age of Anju = x years

Let the present age of Manju = y years

Given that the ages of Anju and Manju differ by 3 years

x - y = 3 ......(1)

Given that,

Anju's father Ramesh age is twice as old as Anju.

Present age of Ramesh = 2x

And

Manju is twice as Meena

Present age of Manju = 2 × age of Meena

Present age of Meena = present age of Manju/ 2

Present age of Meena = y/2

Also,

The ages of Ramesh and Meena is differ by 30 years

2x - y/2 = 30

4x - y/2 = 30

4x - y = 60 .........(2)

Hence, equations are

x - y = 3 .....(1)

4x - y = 60 ....(2)

From equation 1

x - y = 3

x = 3 + y

Put x = 3 + y in equation 2

4(3 + y) - y= 60

12 + 4y - y = 60

3y = 60 - 12

3y = 48

y = 48/3

y = 16

Put y value in equation 1

x - y = 3

x - 16 = 3

x = 3 + 16

x = 19

Therefore,

The age of Anju = 19 years

The age of Manju = 16 years
