therefore ,age of first friend is. 6x

& age of second friend is 5x

6x + 5x = 66

11x = 66

x= 66/11

x= 6

therefore first friend age =6x =6×6 = 36

& second friend age=5x =5×6 = 30

after x years ratio of two friends ages. 7:6

first friend age = 7x =7×6 =42

& second friend age= 6×6 =36

42- 36=6

36-30 =6

therefore after 6 years ratio of friends ages become 7:6
