Sum of the expenditure for the first 3 months :

Average of 1 month = ₹ 18720

3 months = 18720 × 3 = ₹ 56160

Sum of the expenditure for the next 4 months :

Average of 1 month = ₹ 20340

4 months = 20340 × 4 = ₹ 81360

Sum of the expenditure for the next 5 months :

Average of 1 month = ₹ 21708

5 months = 21708 × 5 = ₹ 108540

Find the total expenditure :

Total = 56160 + 81360 + 108540 = ₹ 246060

Find the total income :

Total saving = ₹ 35340 (Given)

Total income = Total expenditure + Total saving

Total income = 246060 + 35340 = ₹ 281400

Find the average monthly income :

12 months = ₹ 281400

1 month = 281400 ÷ 12 = ₹ 23450
