The air pressure in Mumbai is a more than the pressure at Mahabaleshwar.

When air molecules number above the Earth’s surface increases, these molecules exert more air pressure on the surface and the atmospheric pressure increases totally.

In Mumbai the air molecules number above its surface increases because it is nearer to Arabian Sea and attracts more moisture due to heat.
