The algebraic form of an arithmetic sequence is 5-2n. a). what is it's first term? b). write the common difference​

Given, arithmetic sequence Xn = 5n + 3

a. The first term of the sequence, put n = 1

X1 = 5 × 1 + 3

b. d = 5 (coefficient of n be the common difference)

The remainder divide by 5 = 3.

( 5/8 = 3, 5/13 = 3, 5/18 = 3, etc)
